wrong pinout for 2006 Cobalt radio

wire pinout is wrong for a Chevy Cobalt 2006. the plug is physically correct but the wires are not in the correct locations for the stock stereo wiring. soo unless you have time and knowledge to repin the connector do not buy for a 2006 Cobalt.

Had to wire around the harness to make the radio work, antenna adapter is bad.

Everything looked fine when it arrived, hooked everything up and the radio didn’t work. I double checked the connections and nothing. I took the radio to the workbench and tested it with a direct 12v power and it came right on. The only way to make the radio work with this harness is to jump the constant hot and ignition hot so the radio always has power….obviously that isn’t going to work. Trying to use the antenna adapter I almost damaged the antenna on the vehicle. Even when plugged in it doesn’t content the outside of the antenna connector so it gives poor performance. I used foil tape to bridge the contact so the radio has signal until I get a replacement antenna adapter and wiring harness.
