Just wasn't for me

I just think this product didn't work for my skin, I was really trying to find something that would help with my acne and dark spots and unfortunately, this didn't really help much either. I ended up gifting it to my mom who didn't really use it, and after a while of being open it began to turn white which is a normal reaction, but it turns us off from using it. It does have some hard particles in it that I think are good for exfoliation, but as suggested you should rub it into your hands first to make sure nothing big or sharp scratches your face.

It’s genuine black soap, at a fair retail price. $16-$18 is what I expect to pay for 16oz (1lb) of black soap at retail/resale price. I’m able to cut this soap into four equal parts about the size of traditional bars. The most immediate result was my pores being cleared of white heads but it’s too soon for me to see how this soap effects my moderate eczema issue. Black soap will absorb the oils in your skin so I strongly suggest you follow up with a
moisturizing routine. I like using raw Shea butter.

I love my soap. It has done wonders for my skin. It’s important to note that black soap strips EVERYTHING. So, you must follow up with a moisturizer to replenish your skin’s moisture. If not, your skin will become dry and itchy. I see a lot of people complaining about that, but it sounds like they were just uneducated on how to properly incorporate black soap into their skin care routine. It’s not something you want to wash and go with. You NEED to wash, then moisturize!! This should be done with any soap, but especially with black soap.
