Very Good Replica For the Price

I bought this because I own the real version of the controller and my son always wants to use it, so I bought him the knock of version to appease him. Some people have stated they are not able to tell the difference between this and the real version of it; however I own both and can tell you there are definitely some slight differences. The first and most obvious is that it does not have the Nintendo switch logo on the controller itself, which is fine and does not impact the product in any way functionally. The feel and texture of both are very similar as well, but this controller is fairly lighter than the genuine product, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, just a difference I noticed. The reason I knocked one star off was because the vibration on this controller is much weaker than the real controller. Other than that the joysticks and buttons appear to be good quality. We have been using it for several months now with no issues at all.

First off, the reason this product has so many reviews tied to photos and videos is because the seller is offering gift cards in exchange for skewed reviews. With that being said I did not choose that option and will telling you of my experience with this controller. Keep in mind I’ve been playing games for over 20 years.

NOT LICENSED - this controller is not a true Nintendo product. It cannot “wake” the console and lack a few features normal pro controllers have.

TERRIBLE BATTERY LIFE - I’ve fully charged this product many times and get less than 20 hours of life per charge. I feel like this thing is ALWAYS on the charger.

FEELS CHEAP - this product feels significantly worse than a licensed product when holding. The buttons have a lackluster and unsatisfying loose press. The plastic it is made out of has a very cheap and light plastic. And the white “grips” along the hand grips is cheap and feel sticky straight out of the box. It feels like a knocked off PS2 Era controller.

SIGNIFICANT CONNECTION ISSUES- I’ll give it that it has it has not completely disconnected from the console at all. But man does this thing not register/ delay inputs often. I find myself constantly trying to correct myself when playing games because this just won’t keep up.

OVERALL- the value for the money seems just good enough to call a fair price. This certainly isn’t a steal though, with its many flaws and incredibly unsatisfying buttons and construction; this controller will definitely leave something to be desired and have you wanting a real pro controller.

The battery really surprised me, I can play for hours and hours and the controller does not demand to be charged. It is also important to consider that it loads quite fast. As for the grip, from my point of view, it is quite firm. In my case it did not come with any defect, all the buttons and joistics work correctly.

Also, the syncing process with the console was a piece of cake, just connect the cable to the console and the controller. However, it can also be synchronized in another way.

A Nearly flawless alternative. But 1 slight annoyance

The controller is good looking, nearly identical to the pro. Buttons feel nice and clicky. Has good battery life. You can tap any button on the controller and it will immediately begin searching to pair up with the switch.

However, when the battery gets low, you will get nonstop pop-up notifications on the switch screen that it is dying. They show up back to back to back every 15 seconds until you either put it on a charger or unpair it. Other controllers typically pop up with a notice once every 20 or so minutes until they’re dead. But this controller practically causes the switch to yell at you over and over until you do something about it. This gets annoying if you’re watching a video or want to rest the controller down to go do something else. To just hear the tv in the background with that incessant beeping noise is maddening.

Other than that, totally worth it.
