It does froth milk which is what you need a frother for. Keep in mind this does not change the temperature of what you are frothing. It is a bit challenging to get the inside clean, I tend to use a brush rather than my hand and a sponge. So far the quality seems to be fine.

Doesn't froth as much as expected. Stirrer is not removable?

Honestly, I was a bit disappointed. I wanted a rich creamy froth like I get from the local coffee place. This provided some foam, but I ended up taking some of the foam off and running the remaining milk again to make more froth.

The unit is very quiet, and it heats the milk nicely, but it just seems like some more RPMs would make this froth better. You can use less milk (like right at the 'min' level, and it will probably foam that bit more, but then you might end up doing another batch.

One feature that is less than ideal: Most of these units have a stirrer that is really just magnetically attached. This makes it really easy to remove, clean, and change out the stirrer thingee. With this, you have to remove the spring around the stirrer to get the 'non-foaming' modes. If you've got big hands, it can be fun to get the spring back in place!

I really like this milk frother. It just takes a push of a button and a few minutes and the milk that was put in the container will be perfectly frothed for your coffee. Just make sure you will not overfill with milk because it will run over! I wish the milk container part would be separate and could be immersed in water to be cleaned. The frother comes with a cleaning brush but I always feel a little worried I will get water on the parts that are not supposed to be getting wet. Since the outside of the frother container can get dirty as well it would be nice if it could be immersed into the water. Otherwise, I am very pleased with this item.
