It’s a great little heater. I’ve only had it for about 6 weeks but it seems to keep my heating unit from running almost constantly. It does not push out a huge amount of heat, yet it keeps my vaulted ceilings living room and hallway warm enough to keep my heat from running off and on constantly. It used to be that my bedrooms would be toasty and the living room would be freezing. Not with this unit. Now the living room stays fairly warm and the bedrooms are cooler. If nothing else it has evened out the heat in my house. I think it’s going to make a big difference in my electric bill. The remote works good but I can’t seem to figure out the timer setting and the instructions are vague. It looks great in my fireplace and fits perfectly. I was afraid it would be too big but it’s the perfect size.

It looks very nice, fits just right in the chimney, the only thing that u didn't like about it was a little gap on top of the screen, it was very annoying to see that bright light coming from there I just add a little piece of black tape and looks better now, it will be nice that after you set it for the screen to be off, and to be able to adjust a set temperature instead of just high med, and low. Also for some weir reason it turn on by itself one time. I will say never leave anything that could catch fire in front of it, or just lefted plug in a random unsafe place, again bc my was on one time when nobody was home. Other than that looks pretty good.

I had a fireplace that I wasn't using but with the upcoming cold weather, thought I would go ahead and invest the $100 in this product. Easy to install, remote works well and heat output is okay -
The flames playing on the back of of the fireplace look nice. The Red Led in the middle of the firelogs is a little distracting, and on initial set up - a very plastic heat smell but that disappeared over time - doesn't have a temp gauge, nor crackling sound so you can hear the wheels turning and of course the blower but all in all I am happy with the purchase for the price and fulfills my need nicely.
