I didn't personally put it together but my husband said it was pretty easy. My only complaint is the hooks are very small. We ended up buying bigger hooks and more hooks. But I love how convenient it is to drop shoes, purses and jackets on it and the entry isn't all cluttered.

Not worth the $170 something I paid for it!!!

It’s made of partial board. Instructions isn’t clear and actually tells you how to put it together wrong. If you look close at the model pic they have, you can clearly see the shoe holder part is turned backwards showcasing unfinished wood. The directions are horrible but if you take your time and think about it, you’ll figure out how to fix the shelves the right way where all the finished wood is facing the front and all the crew holes are facing underneath and in the back. Also the hardware isn’t very reliable and they didn’t pre drill the holes for the hooks up top. The pressed wood cracks easily and the wooden finish peels off and scratches easily. Would request a return but it’s not worth the hassle of unassembling. Buyers beware!!!

Not worth the money or the time (but see my UPDATE)

The boards came damaged, as you can see on the pictures. (The dark brown color is what it really looks like; the lighter colored pics are because of the flash. We added the triple hook ourselves.) It took two of us 3 hours to assemble it (one of us is very handy, the other is semi-handy). Even with our following the directions closely, we still ended up with screws showing, and it wasn't worth taking it apart and seeing why. Although it is sturdy, I would say this is worth $50 or less.
UPDATE: The company has refunded half of the cost to me in a timely manner, which is excellent customer service. I am adding a star to my rating. I suggest you check the edges of the boards when they arrive.
