These replacement joystick covers saved me buying a new Joycon for my Switch. I had shoved the Switch in my backpack and the stick cover had popped off and the small tab on the cover has ripped off. If you've ever tried to get an original joystick cover back on you know the tabs are the worst part and need to be positioned perfectly for the cover to stay on. I lived with one cover being wonky for a year and finally I lost the cover. These covers do not have this ridiculous tab and just slip over the top of the joystick. You'd think they would come off super easy without the tab but they do not! I haven't had one pop off since I replaced the covers on both my Joycons and I have plenty of extras for when I do lose one.

I think because these don't have the grips on the inside they won't stay on. It was super easy to put them on and it worked great for a day but then I looked down and seen it was gone. Second time around I used super glue...it still managed to work itself off after a couple days. I seen one review that said a hot glue gun worked for them but unfortunately I don't have one. I may invest 10 dollars in one since that would be cheaper than buying new controllers lol. If they would stay on, they'd be perfect.
