My daughter can swim very well in this but it was so cheaply made the bathing suit stretched out right away and now it’s really saggy and could be a huge liability for them because now the shoulder straps can fall off and I’m sure potentially cause the suit to fail

Highly recommend this! Our daughter has used one of these since we began taking her to the water at 9 months. This is the third one we have purchased. It is really great product, you can take out the foam little by little to help them to become more dependent on themselves opposed to the floatation device. A little more expensive than the knock offs, but when it comes to safety in the water, this isn't something you want to save on. In this case you get what you pay for and the Confidence suit is well worth the money you pay. We have used ours for two years since they are quite stretchy. highly... highly recommend.

I like the swimsuit and it's very well made. It fits as expected. However I gave it 3 stars because this suit isn't for a 1-2 year old unless they can already swim and hold their head out of water. This suit fit my 19 month old granddaughter great, however it didn't keep her upper body out of the water. I just don't think that this is the right suit for that young of a child. We decided to purchase an infant life jacket with the neck support for her instead.

Works nice as a long term use suit for the day for safty instead of a bulky life jacket but deffinitly would not keep a child from drowning. Just might keep them from sinking if they did fall into water. It doesn't keep the childs face out of the water. Just keeps them floating.
