Chinese just for looks

We were slightly disappointed. The Chinese is just for looks. There are simplified Chinese characters printed in the books but that's it. The Thinking pad only talks in English. Not sure how you would learn Chinese with this if you didn't have any background. If you only want English, then it is good. It speaks clear English and the instructions are easy to follow.

Other than the booklets can be a tricky to insert for a child, these are a really good invention! My daughter enjoyed playing with it over and over again, and it really keeps her occupied. She loved solving all the problems, and sometimes doodling on the books. I love that there are Chinese, though the machine doesn't read any, at least it gets her exposed to the characters.

These is an excellent way to stimulate your kids logical thinking, helps also on concentration, the books come in English and Chinese so little ones can learn another language.

The books are very colorful and my 4 year old granddaughter really loves them, prefers them now better than her tablet.

Package included 6 books: Family, pets, Zoo, Body, Happy day, Foods. Each book have 16 pages, numbers, colors and much more and as a bonus the kids can draw on the back of each page.

You just need to insert book on the book platform and push the button it will asked a question and kids has to match the right color, very simple and easy. These are a great head start for pre-K and kindergarten age kids. Highly recommended
