This does work and you can program it by yourself. My 2 remotes had broken on the Lincoln MKX. The website it sends you to is garbage and full of adds. It also lists the wrong instructions but I was able to find the correct ones and it worked. The car said Programing new key at the end. You don’t need a dealer or locksmith if you take your time and find good instructions. My old key fobs were both broken but it still works. 4 stars for value. All functions work like remote start and the lock unlock touch feature on the door. As good as new now.

 Lost my keys after being in the UK for a month. Ordered this key fob off Amazon. It arrived sooner than expected. Took it to the local Batteries+ and got it programed super fast. Works great!

This is an extra key so we will see how it works long term. I took to to ford dealer for my MKZ and it worked despite their warnings that generic keys generally don't. It was 75 program fee which was cheaper than Linc dealer and hardware like Ace won't do them of they don't sell you their key for $200+. Lincoln would have been almost 300 for key and program was extra. They do charge you even if it doesn't program, at least in my area. So you could pay 75 and have to return this if faulty. Risk/reward.
