Insoles not warranted for 1 year, just the shoe.

2APR18 Update - I've been wearing these shoes with the replacement insoles provided by Keen for about a month. The replacements are their K20 insoles. I find they have very different feel from the originals that came with the shoes. Two things happen with these new insoles: First, I immediately noticed the fit was not as smooth. That is to say I could feel the undulations of the support structure. This is somewhat less comfortable than the originals, but tolerable. Second, the K20's are a bit thicker and made the shoe a little more snug; another slight annoyance. I think, but I'm not sure, that Keen's K10 insole would be a better fit. If I purchase the K10's I'll post an update.

4MAR18 - The shoes are great, but the insoles started to come apart in less than 3 months! The people at Keen informed me that the INSOLES ARE NOT WARRANTED, as is the shoe, for the 1 year warranty period. However, Keen graciously made a one time exception and gave me a replacement. That's great, but these insoles should have lasted much longer. I have 2 pairs of similar Keen Howser style shoes that have their original insoles. These took about 2 years each to wear out. And they did wear out (along with the entire shoe), not come apart like the insole in my most recent pair of Keens. It seems that these latest insoles are less robust, however, they look identical to the long lasting ones I had.

I still love the shoes. They just have higher maintenance costs now. :(

Always skeptical on buying expensive shoes

I bought these shoes 3 weeks after i purchased the crocs bistro shoes, and 2 weeks after i purchased the Keen hiking sandals. The bistros left my feet sore and in pain after each shift (10-15hrs) where i couldn't even walk the next morning, even my Achilles was pain. When i purchased the Sandals, I immediately took them to Big Bend for my vacation. They are the most comfortable sandals i own, my hiking expenditures were 4 hour long at times, no fatigue. This experience made me take the chance of purchasing these shoes, I don't regret the purchase. These shoes are so comfortable I even wear them on my days off, just to go out and about. They fit just a tad big, I usually where a size 14, I believe I could have been comfortable with a 13. I also have Plantar fasciitis on my left foot, they shoes made my days run smoothly. I recommend these shoes for big guys, I am 6'3, 240lbs and I love these shoes. Go ahead and take a chance on these shoes, if you are a chef like me, you won't regret the purchase.

Well built but not really comfortable.
Reviewed in the United States on March 11, 2020

These are obviously well built shoes with a outstanding reputation for durability and good looks. I walk a lot each day and spend a lot of time standing. These shoes do not meet my expectations as far as comfort is concerned. I did a lot of research before buying these shoes and I am somewhat disappointed only based on comfort.

I bought these for nursing clinicals and when I first put them on my feet felt good. The first day of clinicals I was always on my feet and I will say that I never once had to check my shoes or feet and had no pain, aches...

Very nice shoe, but...

The right shoe seemed to be loose and even though I use heavy work socks, my right foot slips up and down while walking. I have over pronation and there wasn't the arch support I need, so I sent them back for Keen's Destin Utility shoes, which have laces and come in size 15, so I'm hoping for better support.

I've been using Keen's PTC Utility Oxfords, which are incredible shoes, great support and comfort, but only offer up to size 14. A little small for me.
