BEST IN CLASS PLAYTIME...AGAIN
After we dominated battery life in the wireless sport earbud category with our Epic2 earbuds, JLab’s Epic Air features a six-hour battery life – the best in the true wireless earbud market – and are paired with the most robust charging solution to date. The included charging case can pump out 30 more hours of listening time – beating anything in the category with time to spare. That’s 36 hours’ total, 25% more than the Apple AirPods*.
MAKE CALLS
We thought you might be busy. So, we put a microphone in both the right and left earbud allowing you to take calls at the drop of a hat or activate Siri or Google Assistant. When used together, whichever earbud is holding the main Bluetooth connection will have the active microphone and receive the call audio. You’ll never worry about missing that important phone call.
MASSIVE SOUND
The Epic Air earbuds are packed with technology that matters, creating the best sound. Instead of packing the limited space with unused tech (heartrate, fitness tracking, etc), we used it to host large 8mm drivers, 27% larger than Jabra Sport Elite*, and a balanced sound chamber. We then tuned it to ensure the best C3 sound that will excite and motivate you each time you go.

PORTABLE POWER
The included charging case is the perfect portable, universal charger– not just to keep your Epic Air going for 30 hours, but also for charging your device. Use the included cord to charge your Android or use your iPhone charger to plug-in. The lights indicate how much power is remaining so you’ll know when to recharge the case as well.

REVOLUTIONARY FIT
Our proprietary earhook combined with eight sets of gel-tips, including a triple flange custom fit tip and a unique shallow-fit tip, allow the earbud to customize to anyone’s fit. JLab offers more fit options than nearly any other true wireless earbud and the additional safeguard from the earhook creates our revolutionary fit and feel.

SWEATPROOF
With just a tap or two to either earbud you’ll be able switch up your tunes, easy as 1 2 3. For simple, uncomplicated controlling, you'll be able to track forward, track backward, play, pause or adjust volume. Volume can also be controlled via your device. To power on press and hold the button on the inside of the earbud. To power off press and hold the same button or place the earbuds back in the case and they will automatically turn off. Simple.

Multiple false advertising points, but decent Audio

The 6 hour battery life claim is completely false. There is no circumstance where BOTH headphones last for 6 hours of continuous play. They each last about 3 hours each at max before dying and needing recharged. I've tested with 2 pairs because I thought the first was defective because of this, and one earbud came cracked. I suppose it 'could' technically equal six hours if you use only one ear at a time.
Second concern is the ''workout'' compatibility. This can be true if you are not jogging or doing other cardio. These do not secure around your ear well enough for intense exercising. They will fall off, and frequently skip/stop songs due to the touch functions on them.
Third Concern - The document with it and advertising claims that these have an adaptive bluetooth ability, where both headphones will not only stay paired to each other, but adapt to make sure they maintain this connectivity. This might be true in some regards, but if you work near a strong Wi-Fi source or wear glasses, they do not stay paired very well. I find myself only able to use 1 at a time in these instances since they disconnect from each other about every 35 seconds or so.
Fourth Concern - The charging case that comes with them is poor quality for 2 reasons. 1 - The earbuds and case do not appear to be engineered to where they will stay properly seated when placed in the case for charging. 2 - The lid has a weak hinge of plastic that has already started to show concerning signs of wear after just 2 weeks, and I have been very gentle with these. Also, due to point 1, there is some amount of force needed to close the lid properly and have the ear buds actually charge, so if/when the lid breaks, you'll never be able to re-charge these without modifying the case.
Water resistant claim - As far as I can tell, this is true. I live in a very humid area, so it doesn't take hardly any time for these to be saturated. But when they are, they do still play just fine. Although, this contributes to concern 2, which is that they are even less secure once wet, and will likely fall off/out.
Personal concern - There is a tiny power button on both earbuds. When testing the battery life claim, this button after a few hours starts to hurt my ears. It puts an indention in both of my ears, and the discomfort requires me to take a break from use before I can handle them again.

Not the best, but best of the rest.

There are some serious detractors to the build quality of these earbuds. However the convenience they offer mostly atones for this. They are, to be sure, not light. You will always know they are there. JLabs provides over half a dozen divergent tips. Not one of them is comfortable or well fitting. They are all dust a little small or a little too large for a good seal in the ear canal, with the exception of the 2 flanged options. The rubber on these is too stiff, and tends to feel like it is cutting into the skin after about 20 minutes. The signal cuts out often. Despite keeping the phone on the side of the paired main earbud, walking or running seems to drop the signal. They also seem incapable of maintaining their link if the phone is in the back pocket. The base is pronounced, but doesn't seem overbearing. Sound quality is generally above average; on par with Jaybirds or Plantronics, but not quite at the level of Sennheiser or Bose. The major wins for these buds are the touch sensitive controls which are intuitive and responsive (though very sensitive - tending to misinterpret adjusting the earbud placement as activating a control). The battery life is excellent, averaging about 7 hours, with almost 8 right out of the box. The charging case is a great convenience. It is large and heavy, but not only will charge the ear buds, it as well will charge an iPhone almost completely. It is important to make sure the buds are seated correctly in the charger or they will not charge nor turn off, killing the battery. Overall, not top of the line, good value for the money.

Terrible bass response

Awesome in so many ways except for the most important. Zero bass response. If you’re looking for a high tech true wireless earbud that just plays sound, this is the one. If you’re looking for good sound with bass response, don’t waste the money. One thing that baffles me is the constant reminder that expensive headphones/earbuds are usually not the way to go. They lack some of the most crucial aspects. LIKE SOUND QUALITY!! Blows my mind how they put all that work into everything involved in making a great headphone and yet still fall short. And they still charge a ridiculous amount. My fav headphones, Bluetooth headphones and true wireless buds have been no more than $50. Didn’t manage to hang onto these for more than one session at the gym. Immediately started a return process because of the sound. Don’t know if the connectivity issues I read about are true but everything else besides the sound was bad ass. Too bad! Already received my $50 true wireless earbuds and they blow these out of the water with sound quality. In short, I’m a believer in “you get what you pay for “. This does NOT apply with headphones or earbuds or anything of the sort. Especially not jlabs. Don’t waste the time or money.
