Bought this because my Fitbit Charge 5 kept freezing on one screen. Overall, it's a good fitness tracker. The "smartwatch" features are lacking (but I didn't buy it for that). The sleep tracking is useless. So unfortunately I still have to wear the Fitbit at night. It's been getting more accurate on the Garmin as time goes on. So maybe just a calibration thing. The screen is crisp and I love that I can see it in the sun. I bought mostly as a health device. It's important for me to watch my heartrate (at all times). The low/high heartrate warning plus incident detection sold it for me. Test results show that this watch is more accurate than the Fitbit in terms of heartrate. The PulseOx is an added bonus specifically if you have asthma. As you can check it any time.
The app is a bit disorganized. It'll take some getting used to. Battery life - depends on what features you keep on. I don't actually mind charging as I usually take my watch off to shower anyways. Keep the GPS off and don't keep the screen always on and you should get at least 3-4 days on one charge. I feel like most companies overstate battery life like fuel efficiency.
I'm still playing with the exercise modes. I have a set regimen I do with a weight/cardio combo. So far only once has it auto picked up my exercise. And it tracked the elliptical as walking. Also because it's a wrist device I've heard it can have issue properly tracking heartrate when weight training.
The look...is amazing. I bought the rose gold with white band. It's a classy looking watch. At first I thought the band material seems flimsly. I've realized that's to provide a better fit. The sensors are all optical based and a loose fit allows interference from outside light. Which leads to inaccurate readings. The wrist band is silicone, which I also like. Every Fitbit comes with "elastomer" which breaks out my skin really bad. So I had to buy a different wrist band right from the start every time I bought a new Fitbit. Ridiculous.
Anyways, if you're not an Apple or Samsung user and want a decent fitness tracker with a few (albeit not great) smartwatch features, this is a good option. It's mostly a fitness/health tracker and will serve you well in that regard.
