The filter needed to be pushed in all the way around the edge to seat properly. It was no easy task, but doable. It was hard on my fingers. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a tool handy to push the orange rubber rim IN & DOWN into the housing.
A large screwdriver most likely would have done the trick.
Hope this helps someone and makes the install smoother.
Filter is well made, just seemed like it didn’t want to fit easily.
