This is indeed the Epson Stylus Pro 3880 Vivid Magenta 80ml ink Cartridge T580A. I am not sure what the picture is on the Amazon site, but it looks nothing like either the boxed item or the actual cartridge. This gave me significant pause in ordering. So 5 stars for the genuine Epson ink and 0 stars for Amazon's picture.

The description for this "Epson T580A UltraChrome K3 Vivid Magenta Cartridge Ink" lists this cartridge as fitting both the Epson 3800 & 3880... but on the box it very clearly states it is "Exclusively for the 3880." HOWEVER (!) - interestingly enough - when I compare this 3880 cartridge to a 3800 cartridge, I see only ONE TINY DIFFERENCE (see photos). Every little hole, cutout, channel, nozzle, protrusion and dug-out area that is in this plastic cartridge is EXACTLY the same - except the location of one little 1/4" tab, which is on the opposite side of a channel. This is the only difference I can see in the 3800 to 3880 ink... which forces you to buy another set of ink if you had the 3800 and upgraded to the 3880. Dick move, Epson... dick move. Unless there's some other difference invisible to the consumer?

The cartridge I received on October 12, 2018 had these dates on it: manufactured: 20170722 (July 22, 2017) & Best before: 20190722 (July 22, 2019)... so the one I got is about a year old. Not that big of a deal.
