Fit on hitch great. Used the through hole to tighten nut. Awesome to not have to switch receivers now and maintain trailer level.

4 Piece 902B Convert-A-Ball Hitch Ball

What a FANTASTIC product! For over 45 years now I've been towing everything from lightweight yard trailers (1-7/8" ball) to larger pull-behind campers (2" ball) to incredibly heavy loads on my 24' flat bed equipment hauler (2-5/16" ball). I've always had a "Reese" type hitch receiver and was always on the look-out for the "easiest" way to change a hitch ball. For many years I used (3) individual Hitch mounts, each with a different sized ball. This wasn't bad but they took up lots of space in my truck box and always managed to slide just out of my reach when I needed them. At best they were still inconvenient and heavy. Then I tried a "Triple-Tree" for a short while (all 3 balls mounted on a single hitch mount). It was easy enough to keep track because it stuck out over a foot from my bumper (Ouch!) but was really heavier than H....well, it was really heavy! Finally, I purchased a single, good quality hitch mount with an appropriate drop for my truck and the stainless steel 902B Convert-A-Ball Hitch system. UNBELIVABLE! Along with it I purchased the small, heavy plastic storage case and, after using it for over a year now, I just can't tell you how satisfied I am with this system. At any given time I'm able to change the ball size on my hitch in a matter of seconds with full confidence in the quality and strength of my entire hitch assembly. The two balls not in use store securely in the storage box and require almost no space in my truck box. I've given the small box a place of honor in my truck box so it's always right at my finger-tips. ALL this now so easy and without having to lift and/or manipulate a "Blacksmiths anvil", or get down on the ground to unlock an inconveniently located hitch pin (both BIG problems for me at my age!). By the way, did I mention that I really love this product???

Great hitch ball setup

I got this because I'm constantly towing and didn't want to insert/remove my hitch all the time. The last interchangeable ball I had wasn't stainless and quickly became rusted solid, meaning it was then just permanently a 2" ball. Yes, the nut and washer are not stainless, but it is a wise choice. Stainless doesn't have quite the shear strength of steel. The shank and ball are fine as stainless because they are impressively thick, but the walls of a nut are not as thick which is why I'm thinking they used steel. So would you rather have a nut that doesn't rust, or a nut that actually safely holds the ball on preventing death and destruction? I'll take the rusty nut.
